So I tried the Jillian Michaels 30 Day Shred

All I can say is wow!  I am only on the 7th day and I lost 6 lbs.

I was aiming for 2 lbs., but I'll take it!

I will post before and after pics after I am done.  This workout combines strength and cardio in less than 30 minutes.  I use 5 lb. weights.

Aside from doing the 30 day shred workout, I also eat extremely healthy.

I drink a lot of water all day long, eat fruits and veggies.  Brown rice instead of white, whole grain bread instead of white!  

I also added the 30 day plank challenge, 30 day crunch challenge, and the 30 day squat challenge.

Biggest differences:

My back is becoming more toned, as are my arms.
My tummy is shrinking!  This was a problem area after I had my daughter.
More energy!

If I snack, I just allocate my calories to my daily total, which I keep track on sparkpeople.com.  I also snack healthier.  Instead of chocolate, I eat apples with Nutella or peanut butter.  I don't use mayo anymore, I use avocado...even on tuna!

I can't wait until my 30 days are up to see the new me!
